FAQ

What is the Bloom & Bite workshop?
Bloom & Bite is a hands-on floral design workshop where guests learn how to combine fresh flowers and seasonal fruit into a creative centerpiece. The experience focuses on composition, color, texture, balance, and basic floral design techniques.

Do I need floral design experience to attend?
No. Bloom & Bite is designed to be beginner-friendly. Flowertivity provides guidance throughout the workshop, making it suitable for first-time participants as well as guests who simply want to strengthen their floral design skills.

What is included in the workshop?
Your workshop includes fresh seasonal flowers, fruit selected for the design, a floral vessel, design materials, guided instruction, and the finished arrangement you create during the experience.

Will I take my arrangement home?
Yes. Each participant creates an individual floral and fruit centerpiece to take home at the end of the workshop.

How long is the Bloom & Bite workshop?
Bloom & Bite typically lasts approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the group size and workshop format.

Where are Bloom & Bite workshops held?
Bloom & Bite workshops may be offered at scheduled locations throughout Scottsdale, Phoenix, and surrounding Arizona communities. We are also local to Dallas, TX and Raleigh, NC. Private workshops may also be available for select venues and groups.

Can I book Bloom & Bite as a private workshop?
Yes. Bloom & Bite can be adapted for private groups, corporate events, bridal gatherings, birthdays, team experiences, and other creative celebrations. Contact Flowertivity for private workshop availability and group options.

How is Bloom & Bite different from a Bloom Party?
Bloom & Bite is a more instructional floral design experience focused on learning techniques and creating a specific floral-and-fruit centerpiece. A Bloom Party is designed primarily as a social celebration where the host selects a floral color palette and guests enjoy a more relaxed arranging experience.

Can I choose the flower colors for a private Bloom & Bite workshop?
For private bookings, color preferences may be incorporated when possible. Specific flower varieties depend on seasonality, availability, design requirements, and the workshop theme.

Is the fruit used in the arrangement edible?
The fruit is incorporated as a design element within the centerpiece. Because it is handled as part of the floral design process, it should be considered decorative rather than intended for consumption after the workshop.

What should I bring to the workshop?
Everything needed for the floral design activity is provided. Guests may want to bring a phone or camera to photograph their finished design and should wear clothing appropriate for working with fresh flowers and plant materials.

How far in advance should I register?
Advance registration is recommended because flowers, fruit, vessels, and materials are purchased specifically for each workshop. Registration may close several days before the event so materials can be properly prepared.

Are tickets refundable or transferable?
Tickets are subject to Flowertivity's workshop cancellation and transfer policy. Guests should review the booking terms before purchasing, particularly because fresh flowers and materials are ordered in advance.
